Innovative. Rebellious. Unconventional.
All this translated well on his designs. McQueen became one of the most well-known designers out there, appreciated for his uniqueness and eccentricity. He brought avant-garde chic to a whole new level, and definetely set the bar high for the future generation.
McQueen's influence is immeasurable, and he is sure to inspire the fashion world for many years to come. He is rightfully the newest addition in the Pantheon of fashion's greatest.
Hopefully he can now find all the peace & inspiration he longed for.

Chilling.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jad4Du0JCA This song turns me on. When I have a lot of work to do, I just press play and I immediately stop stressing. Life seems like a sweet mess when it's turned up full blast.
What do you do when you're stressing out? Grab a bite? Grab two? Dance? Have a shower? Do yoga?

Limelight Rookie
She's the newest blogging phenomenon and has taken the fashion world by storm. She's the Style Rookie. She's got over 4 million readers to her blog, and is a very precocious kid.
I must confess Style Rookie has been my guilty pleasure for quite some time now. Now, with her newfound fame, she gets invited to a plethora of events including the NY Fashion Week. What puzzles me is the fact that she's 13.
I remember my 13th year on this planet. It was a far cry from Tavi's life. I don't remember doing anything half as productive as a blog, and I certainly don't remember getting invited to Fashion Week.
After all of this, is she having a normal childhood? I don't want to criticize this matter, and I certainly don't know how her parents raise her.
Do you think it's unhealthy for kids to be exposed to the limelight?
I mean, they've hardly developed their personality(I don't care what you tell me, Tavi is still a kid) and they're just pushed into the fast & furious world of celebrity much too quickly.
Childhood. I guess you've got to take advantage of it while it's still there.
What do you think?
Argue your point.
The comment box is waiting for you.

You can call me Fantasy.
Wow, this sure feels like a first date.
Awkward silence and a few blank stares. You go to the rest room. I get the chance to freshen up a little, and slightly unbutton my shirt. I turn the lights off and light a few candles. You're back. You sit on the couch while I offer to fix you a drink. Your austere look is making me slightly nervous. I get you your whiskey.
Before we know it we've moved a whole lot closer to each other. 'The Way you Look Tonight' is thumping from inside the upstairs apartment.
I can feel your warm breath in my face.
I try to kiss you...yet you turn up and kiss my forehead instead.
How I long for that kiss...
